Ms. Helen Elizabeth Green, age 83, transitioned from her earthly home to enter eternal rest on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Roxboro, North Carolina.
Helen was born to the union of the late John Green and the late Betty Lawson Green in Halifax, Virginia. She received her education in the Halifax School System. She decided to make her home in Roxboro, North Carolina. Helen is a retiree from her employment at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by two brothers John Green, Jr. and William Green; two sisters Lucille Green and Loretta Thomas; and one brother-in-law Gill Thomas.
Helen leaves to cherish her memory three children – her son Herbert “Lee” Green of Roxboro, North Carolina; and her daughters Jacqueline Ragland (husband William) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Melinda Green of the home; one sister Queenie Green of Roxboro, North Carolina; one brother Lorenzo Green (wife Linda) of Roxboro, North Carolina; and numerous loving additional relatives and friends.
