Mr. Wilbert Lee Credle, Jr., age 70, departed this life on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina. He was born in Scranton, North Carolina but relocated to Roxboro in the early 1980s. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert Lee Credle, Sr. and Victoria Silverthorne Credle and one brother James L. Credle. He is survived by three sons Maurice Alki Credle of Morrisville, North Carolina, Ron DeShea Credle of Roxboro, North Carolina and Victor Credle of Scranton, North Carolina; two surrogate daughters, Nicole Slade and Tonya Slade, both of Roxboro, North Carolina; one brother, Glen Thomas Credle (Valerie) of Scranton, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Sadie Hardy Credle of Scranton, North Carolina; three aunts, Christine Credle Davis and Dora Lee Credle of Scranton, North Carolina and Ruby Jackson of Norfolk, Virginia; one uncle, Leonest Credle (Laura) of Ayden, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
