​Mrs. Thelma Chase Cook, age 98, entered eternal rest on July 16, 2020 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina. She was born in Washington, DC but made her home in Roxboro since 2008.


Mrs. Thelma Chase Cook was preceded in death by her mother Viola E. C. Foster; her husband Harold P. Cook; and her brother Oliver M. Chase.

She is survived by her son Robert P. Cook (Gloria) of Roxboro, North Carolina; one God Son Joey Womack (Margie) of Maryland; one aunt Antoinette Chase of Roxboro, North Carolina; one niece Olivia Chase and one nephew Maurice O. Chase both of Washington, DC; two granddaughters Adrianne Cheatham and Carmen Martinez (Mitchell) both of Maryland; one grandson Robert Cook, Jr. (Kent) of New York; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
