Mr. Robert Alfonzo Chavis, age 66, departed this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, North Carolina. He was a native of Person County.

He was preceded in death by his parents George Washington Chavis, Sr. and Mary Fuller Chavis and brothers Walter J. Chavis and George W. Chavis, Jr.

Mr. Chavis is survived by six sisters Linda Kaye Allen (husband John Dee) of Fort Washington, Maryland; Althea Elaine Chavis of Williamsburg, Virginia; Cheryl Dannette Chavis of Raleigh, North Carolina; Sondra Jo Bullock (husband Edward) of Greensboro, North Carolina and Sylvia Dixon and Debra Jean Dixon, both of Roxboro, North Carolina; four brothers Earl Lewis Fuller of Timberlake, North Carolina; James Darnell Fuller of Burlington, North Carolina and Harry Dixon and Tim Dixon both of Roxboro, North Carolina; two aunts Barbara Blaine of Roxboro, North Carolina and Fannie Bradshaw of Timberlake, North Carolina; one uncle Robert Henry “Head” Fuller of Roxboro, North Carolina; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
