Mr. LeRoy Bailey, age 75, a native of Person County, entered eternal rest on Monday, February 2, 2021 at Sovah Danville Medical Center in Danville, Virginia. He was the son of the late John Bailey and the late Virtie Street Bailey.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ollie Ray Bailey.

Mr. Bailey is survived by one daughter Tory Bailey of Fayetteville, North Carolina; six sisters Mary Snipes, Thelma Sanford and Ruth Bailey, all of Person County; Lillie Bailey and Rosa Bailey, both of Durham, North Carolina; and Annie Swan of Mebane, North Carolina; four brothers Robert Bailey and Melvin Bailey, both of Person County and John (wife Jeanette) Bailey and James Bailey, both of Durham, North Carolina; one aunt Ophelia Street of Maryland; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
